Yoga is a healing tool that can take you from feeling lethargic, anxious, negative and stressed to renewed, calm and positive. Yoga is a tool to bring stillness to the mind by linking movement with breath.

I enjoy teaching morning vinyasa flow balanced with afternoon restorative yoga. The dynamic vinyasa class builds fire in the body and gets the prana (energy) moving, as the class progresses we ease into more restorative poses to bring the body and mind back into balance and stillness for savasana to finish. In my restorative classes we begin with a series of simple facia release movements getting into parts of the body that we often neglect in yoga or other exercise practices, then we follow a series of restorative poses, holding them for longer – connecting to the breath – finishing with savasana. In all my classes I adjust to help students with alignment, deepen them into the pose or simply to enjoy the pose more.
